Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah also maintained excellent pressure on the batters. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja bowled tightly to keep England on the back foot.
Washington Sundar played an important role too, claiming the big wicket of England captain Ben Stokes and pushing India even closer to victory.
Thanks to India’s sharp, disciplined bowling, England’s innings collapsed and India raced toward a well-deserved win.
Shubman Gill has truly been a one-man army in this match, scoring over 400 runs and putting India firmly in control. Now, the team just needs 4 more wickets to seal the win.
We’ve seen incredible confidence from the Indian side throughout this match, with the players showing great determination to secure victory.
At one point today, Box and J Smith were building a very solid partnership, trying hard to save the match for England. But unfortunately for them, Prasidh Krishna broke that stand at a crucial moment, bringing India even closer to triumph.
